    I also find it makes me more organised and disciplined. I have to set aside specific times in the week to do my weight training and I also have to train consistently to maintain and improve upon my current results. If I’m not consistent and don’t set aside specific times during the week to train then I quickly lose the muscle I have gained.

    I also have to be organised and disciplined in terms of eating by making sure I’m eating the right foods, make sure I’m eating enough and making sure I’m eating consistently. If I don’t then my poor eating carries through and negatively affects my workout.

    This organisation and discipline carries through to other areas of my life. I often find it easier to discipline myself when I need to get something done e.g. write an essay, because I have picked up these organisational skills through weight lifting.
